Alright, It’s back. One of my all-time favourite cuvee’s (and labels). Etc Etc !

The original inspiration for this wine came from my time spent in the Jura, and me falling head over heels in love with the Ploussard (or Poulsard, but that’s a debate you don’t want to get into)

Ploussard ticks all of the boxes for me. Complexity, vibrancy, freshness, purity and usually with a touch of wildness & funk. And always glagable. Yup, it is everything I want in an everyday wine.

Etc Etc was designed to be that type of wine and I think every iteration of it has gotten better and better. This one is certainly a standout.

Comprised of 50% Schioppettino and 50% Syrah rosé it sits surely in the light red category. Both varieties were fermented separately and handled very lightly. Approx 3 days carbonic maceration for each and then gently pressed to 2 amphora (Schioppettino) and 1 stainless steel tank (Syrah). They then spent 9 months in their respective vessels until being blended 2 weeks before bottling at which time 20ppm so2 was added.

The resulting wine is what the common vernacular calls ‘Glou Glou”

Light, vibrant, fresh, complex with that beautiful red berry acidity that keeps you going back for more.
